You can help create a Global Ceasefire and humanity's first day of peace during the Countdown To Peace.

Ask your favorite groups, organizations, or religious institutions to endorse the International Day of Peace.
Ask your President or Prime Minister to pledge to honor the United Nations call for a Global Ceasefire and Day of Peace & Nonviolence.
Ask your Mayor, your Governor, your City Council, your State Legislature and your Head of State to declare a Proclamation of Peace in support of the International Day of Peace on September 21.
Get involved in a local event or activity (including Peace Vigils, Peace Day Parties, Peace Day Parades, Service For Peace, Pinwheels For Peace, and a Minute of Silence for Peace at Noon) on Peace Day or during the Countdown To Peace to show your support. (Post YOUR Plans)
If you have a website, please create a Peace Day section to help spread the word about humanity's first day of peace on September 21.

These pledges, proclamations and events will create a measurable gauge of the world's participation in this momentous Day. It will raise awareness of the universal desire for a more peaceful, just and sustainable world, and will help to transform our societies into cultures of peace. Together we can make it happen.
