June, International Day Of Peace Program was announced to the Educational
Committees on the prefecture government level across the country by
the UN Information Center and the Goi Peace Foundation.
72
schools reported back to UN University in Tokyo that they organized
International Day of Peace related events. A total of 28,849 students
participated in the program.
