The Universidad Par La Paz (University for Peace) has
created The Peacemaker Award, to be presented to five different peacemakers
in a ceremony to be broadcast to a major international audience.
Presentation will be made within the framework of an international
initiative called “Tribute to Peacemakers”, launched by the University
for Peace to promote public awareness, understanding and support for
the activities of peacemakers engaged in exemplary efforts on the
frontlines of peace. (“WE THE PEOPLES” INITIATIVE Participant)
